The research Question:  What is the relationship between the household size and a specific class of recycled material in American households?

Variable 1:  Independent Variable:  Current data is available that provides the number of occupants in a household.  This will serve as the independent variable and be referred to Household Size throughout the remainder of the research.

Variable 2:  Dependent Variable:  Current data is available that provides trash generation by household size, with a breakdown of trash categories within a specific household.

• The Household Size
• Mock Data for the independent and dependent variables.

Determine the appropriate statistical tool to test the hypothesis based on the research question.

Conduct a hypothesis test with a 95% confidence level, using the statistical tool.

Write an interpretation of no more than 350-words of the results and provide your findings.

Submit both the spreadsheet and the paper.
