Create a spreadsheet to compute the network transmission times for the following

situation: A 50-octet message is to be transmitted through three intermediate nodes to

its destination. Each packet will have a 5-octet header. All packets must be the same

size ? no short packets are permitted. The time required to transmit one octet across the

hops are determined by the last non-zero digits of your student ID, respectively, in

milliseconds. For example, if your ID is 12345680, the time required to transmit one

octet across the last hop is 8ms, and 6ms across the second-to-last hop, and so on.

Include in your spreadsheet a bar chart showing the transmission time versus the

number of packets, and determine the optimal packet size.
